DSI Medical Services, Inc. MRO Services may be provided through a member of the panel of Medical Review Officers with whom DSI works or coordinated with the MRO of your choice. Review of all confirmed positive results must be performed by a licensed physician who is qualified as outlined under 49 CFR Part 40.121. DSI ensures donors have the opportunity to discuss a positive test result with the MRO and the MRO can consult with the forensic toxicologist from the SAMHSA laboratory to review concerns or questions regarding test results. Once the MRO makes a ruling, the employer is notified regarding the results of the test. Initial reporting via website, fax, e-mail or other electronic means as per client’s instruction, with “hard copy” results to follow within 2 business days of the MRO ruling.
